Redbridge Museum

Redbridge Museum was opened in 2000 and serves as the local community museum for the London Borough of Redbridge. The museum explores the many different places, people and events in over 150,000 years of local Redbridge history.

The display items timeline spans from prehistoric animals to recent developments, with particular focus on the development of Ilford, Wanstead and Woodford from 1850s - 1950s.

Regularly changing temporary exhibitions on local subjects complement the permanent displays, and there is also an events programme for children and families.
